Event: Tivoli Festival: A Celebration of Danish
Culture
Date/Time:
Sunday, September 20, 2015
Setup: 8:30 AM Event Time: 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM
Location:
Aldersly Retirement Community 326 Mission Avenue San Rafael, CA
We've been invited to Aldersly’s 69th Annual Tivoli
Festival. The event will run from 10AM to 4 PM, but we'll need to arrive no
later than 8:30 AM to set up. We'll set up our shade canvas and a
couple of tables for our displays. We'll present
The Viking Art of War about noon.
Parking will be a challenge in the narrow streets around the hilly neighborhood. If you have a lot of gear to drop off,
use the main parking lot - or you can head West from the community center on Mission Street, turn right on Grand Avenue and right again on Belle Avenue. There is a double wooden gate that leads to the grassy area where we'll set up. Parking is no easier on this back side of the property, though.
Here's more about
the event from their web site
in 2012:
Free Admission, Free Shuttle. A celebration of Danish culture.

Nordic House will be selling traditional Scandinavian candies, supplies and gifts.
