The event location is just a mile or so south of Petaluma.  From Highway 101 take Exit 472A - Petaluma Blvd and Kastania Road, following the signs to Kastania Road, on the WEST side of 101, THEN turn left to take Kastania Road south, paralleling Highway 101.  Go about a mile.  (By the way, Google Maps indicates the wrong private road for the address.  Keep going on Kastania Road until you reach the derelict gas station.)  Across from the old gas station, turn right (heading west) onto the gravel road marked by flag poles with American and Danish flags. Drive all the way in - about four hundred yards. There is a graveled area surrounded by buildings and a shaded picnic area.   We'll set up in the dirt/grass parking area right outside that. Restrooms are available.

The event starts around 11:00 AM with an hour of informal meet-and-greet and ends about 3:00 PM at the latest. The Danish Soldiers Club will hold an abbreviated formal member meeting at about Noon.  We will follow that with our Viking Art of War presentation.  Then there will be an informal sitdown barbecued lunch.  During lunch we will just work at our display as usual. Bring display tables and seating.

Food is on us.  But ... if you decide to have their $20 barbecued steak meal (recommended), order it directly through their website at http://www.danishsoldiersclub.com/ Or bring your own. Drinks are fairly priced ranging from $1 for soft drinks on up for beer and hard stuff.
